Angelina's Submarine Shop
34 1/2 Columbia St, Adams, Adams,
Each area Angelina's is OK, but the worst by far is the one in Adams. For one, it is so incredibly cramped! It would be suprising if three people can fit in at a time. They have, of course, extremely young (15-19 year olds) working there, who talk about their VERY personal life stories/tragedies, etc. in front of customers. They are extremely disorganized, and MOST of the employees let their hair hang in and around the food. Half don't wear gloves. I would definitely recommend the North Adams Angelina's over Adams and Williamstown, only because it seems that the N.A. Angelina's is the "HEADQUARTERS" in the Berkshires. They have people who have been there many, many years in the 40's, who know to keep to themselves, and to give great customer satisfaction. They also have the most variety (i.e., assorted breads, chips, sodas, desserts, etc.) compared to the other stores in the area. All in all, the subs are good, it's more or less the atmosphere and the people who are making them under the particular conditions!
